Experience the stunning sunrise at Setumbu Hill, explore the ancient Borobudur Temple, brave the adventure jeep ride at Merapi Volcano, and marvel at the grandeur of Prambanan Temple on this unforgettable tour from Yogyakarta.
Here’s what’s in store on this trip:
- Catch the sunrise from Setumbu Hill—trust me, the view over Java is unreal.
- Wander through the ancient Borobudur Temple and soak up all that history and culture.
- Then, hold on tight for a wild jeep ride across the rocky slopes of Merapi Volcano; it’s a rush you won’t forget.
- You’ll also get to marvel at Prambanan Temple. The place is massive, the architecture’s mind-blowing, and yep, it’s a UNESCO World Heritage Site for a reason.
- Best part? You can just sit back and enjoy it all, since we’ll handle the transportation and guide you every step of the way.
Here’s how your day unfolds:
We’ve got your climb-up ticket for Borobudur Temple covered. But here’s the thing—only 1,200 people get to climb up each day. Planning to visit during the busy summer holidays? Book your tour with us early. That way, you’re sure to get your spot.
We’ll pick you up at your hotel in Yogyakarta and head straight for Punthuk Setumbu Hill.
Quick hike up the hill (nothing too crazy, promise).
The view from up there? Absolutely worth the early wake-up.
Head back down and grab a light breakfast at a local spot.
Our expert guide will fill you in on all the fascinating history and stories behind this ancient wonder.
Next, we drive over to the Merapi Volcano Jeep Basecamp.
Hop in a 4x4 and set off on a lava tour, taking in the wild landscape and learning about Merapi’s geological history.
We hit the road again, this time to Prambanan Temple, stopping for lunch along the way.
Wander through the incredible Hindu temples at Prambanan. There’s a bit of magic in the stories you’ll hear.
Back to your hotel. That’s a wrap on your adventure!
